Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager of Competitive Intelligence to perform research and analysis supporting corporate strategy initiatives. This role often manages projects with broad objectives and requires presenting findings to all levels of management.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to communicate insights across Sales & Marketing, Leadership Team, and Board-level audiences, with remote ET business hours across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant sources of primary and secondary research
