Job summary

S&T Bank is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support compensation programs and payroll operations across multiple locations. You will analyze market data, participate in salary surveys, and assist with job evaluations and salary structures to ensure equitable pay practices.

The role partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to maintain compliance and drive process improvements, with a four-year degree and 2–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or equivalent in HR, business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of compensation analysis and payroll experience.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).
• Certifications: CCP, FPC, CPP, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compensation data and market trends to support competitive pay practices.
• Participate in salary surveys and benchmark positions against market data.
• Assist with job evaluations, grading, and salary structure administration.
• Support annual compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive programs.
• Conduct pay equity analyses and support compensation compliance initiatives.
• Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Maintain compensation-related data in HRIS systems.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and managers on compensation recommendations.
• Process payroll accurately and timely in accordance with policies and schedules.
• Audit payroll transactions and ensure compliance with wage/hour regulations.
