Job summary

FirstService Residential in Valley Forge, PA seeks a Portfolio Manager to lead operations across communities, aligning with Board directions and the organization’s mission. You will oversee staff, budgets, and day-to-day activities to ensure compliant, high-quality service.

You will develop short- and long-term plans, monitor financials, coordinate with boards and committees, and drive improvements in service delivery while maintaining strong community relations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• State certifications/licenses as required; CPM/PCAM/ARM or equivalent encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in the development of short-term and long-range plans; lead annual goal setting.
• Review organization structure and functions; make recommendations to the Board.
• Coordinate with boards, committees, and community groups to deliver services.
• Create and monitor annual operating budgets; oversee monthly financial position.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise community staff; enforce program standards.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and civil code; perform building inspections as needed.
• Maintain emergency plans with local authorities; ensure safe, effective operations.
• Provide on-site visibility in common areas and oversee day-to-day operations.
