Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a General Manager to lead a community on behalf of the Board, overseeing operations, staff, and compliance. You will maintain relationships with the Board, committees, residents, and local agencies while directing day-to-day activities and ensuring alignment with the Board's mission.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of high-profile community management or related field

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning aligned with Board's vision
• Oversee annual budget process and financial performance
• Manage day-to-day operations, staffing, maintenance and vendor relations
• Foster strong relationships with residents, Board and external stakeholders
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the Association
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing team
• Develop and maintain emergency plans and procedures
• Ensure safety and security protocols across the community
