Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Association Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a Lehigh Valley community. You will work with the Board to drive strategic plans, oversee staff, and ensure financial and contractual compliance.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, relationship-building, and proactive governance, with a focus on resident needs and service delivery. Extends to managing budgets and reports to the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 3 years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Minimum seven years of successful community management experience, with at least 4 years supervising staff.
• Management experience in a small or medium-sized organization with multiple departments.
• Understanding of Condominium law, financial planning and property management.
• Valid Driver’s License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for short-term and long-range plans; align with Board objectives.
• Review org structure and roles; recommend changes to the Board.
• Partner with organizations to provide community services when necessary.
• Support Board sub-committees and manage annual budget with Board approval.
• Monitor monthly financial position and report to the Board.
• Lead Board meetings with agenda support and follow-up actions.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all community staff per management plan.
• Maintain emergency and evacuation plans with local agencies.
• Develop and implement programs to meet community needs.
• Attend professional meetings; stay updated on trends in community management.
