Job summary

FirstService Residential in Charlotte, NC seeks a Community Association Manager to lead day-to-day operations, align with governance documents, and ensure financial oversight and staff management.

The role requires developing budgets with the Board, supervising staff, coordinating with emergency services, and driving community programs while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3 years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Seven years of community management experience, with 4 years leading staff.
• Experience managing multiple departments and knowledge of Condominium law and financial planning.
• Valid Driver’s License and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to develop short- and long-range plans to meet Board objectives.
• Review organization structure and functions; advise the Board on changes.
• Lead budget creation and financial oversight in partnership with the Board.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise community staff per management plan.
• Coordinate with emergency services and external partners for community needs.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare reports and follow up on priorities.
