Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a experienced Community Manager in New Jersey to lead day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring strong governance and exceptional service levels. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Board of Directors, and implement budgeted plans aligned with the association’s mission.

This role requires a solid background in property operations, condo law, and financial planning, plus a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Experience managing staff with diverse expertise.
• Understanding of building management and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to achieve Board objectives.
• Oversee staff and daily community operations.
• Collaborate with boards, committees and external partners.
• Develop and manage annual community budget with Board approval.
• Monitor monthly financial position and reporting.
• Inspect property and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to governing documents and policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

CPM/PCAM/ARM/AMS designations or equivalent
