Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the full operation of a housing community on site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will develop annual budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and drive resident satisfaction through strategic planning and service excellence. Candidates with CAM/ARM or related housing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of a housing community.
• Supervise staff; hire, train, coach, and develop on-site team.
• Ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop annual operating budgets and forecasting.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges; ensure timely reporting.
• Manage vendor invoices and property expenses.
• Lead emergency responses and coordinate with staff and residents.
• Communicate with HR and leadership on performance and scheduling.
