Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment is seeking a VP Commercial Relationship Manager to grow a Northwest Washington commercial loan portfolio and serve as a trusted advisor to business clients. Lead with relationship-building while delivering tailored financial solutions and strategic banking guidance.

You will collaborate with Treasury Management, Credit Administration, Private Banking, and Retail teams to provide comprehensive services, while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial banking or commercial lending experience.
• Demonstrated success developing and managing commercial relationships.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and financial statement interpretation.
• Experience with C&I, owner-occupied real estate, investment real estate, and commercial lending structures.
• Excellent business development and networking abilities.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and credit policy.
• Experience working with CRM platforms and commercial banking software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand a profitable commercial loan portfolio through business development and networking.
• Build lasting relationships with business owners, executives, developers, and community leaders.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and credit structures to recommend sound lending solutions.
• Structure commercial loans tailored to each client's unique goals and financial needs.
• Partner closely with Treasury Management, Credit Administration, Private Banking, and Retail teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.
• Serve as the primary financial advisor for your clients, identifying opportunities beyond lending, including deposits, cash management, and other commercial banking services.
• Monitor portfolio performance while proactively managing credit quality and client satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and internal credit standards.
• Represent the bank throughout the community by attending networking events, industry organizations, and local business functions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitive developments, and economic conditions impacting commercial clients.
