Account Managers will drive sales growth for a defined geography using Grainger's CRM (Salesforce), reporting to the District Sales Manager of Commercial. Travel to customers is required, typically monthly, across the assigned market. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of direct outside sales experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
• Travel to each customer within aligned market at least once per month.
• Process discipline and pipeline development.
• Ability to uncover objections and determine solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and remain alert to changing needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and resources to respond to developments.
• Oversee managed inventory tasks to grow sales understanding among customers.
• Understand Grainger's Value Proposition by providing solutions to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account penetration strategies including regular business reviews with essential customers.
