Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales within the assigned geography.

You will manage 20–25 current accounts and visit Gainesville, TX and Madill, OK daily, using Grainger's CRM to execute business activities and report to the District Sales Manager of Commercial. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience, strong forecasting, and the ability to travel monthly or more as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Travel required to each customer within aligned market at least once per month.
• Experience with forecasting and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and remain alert to changing needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and access resources for developments in the customer's business.
• Oversee managed inventory tasks to improve customer understanding and increase sales.
• Understand Grainger's Value Proposition by providing solutions to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account penetration strategies including regular business reviews for essential customers.
