Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales across a defined Alaska geography, including frequent travel to customer sites and the North Slope. You will sustain 15–20 current accounts and aim for multi‑million annual sales using Grainger tools and strategies.

You will report to the District Sales Manager of Commercial, build relationships, and execute account plans to grow profitable revenue in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Willingness to travel to customers within the market, including the Alaska North Slope.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and grow a portfolio of 15–20 accounts within the assigned geography.
• Forecast sales, manage opportunities, and plan account development.
• Travel at least monthly to customer sites; leverage Grainger CRM to drive activity and revenue.
• Report to District Sales Manager of Commercial and execute the Grainger value proposition.
