Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in New York seeks a Sr. Cloud Technical Account Manager to act as the principal technical advisor for Enterprise customers, guiding adoption and resilience across EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, and more.

You will partner with senior leaders to discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk, crafting strategies to keep customer environments healthy and secure. Some travel (≈10%) is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal technical advisor to customers and drive adoption of AWS services.
• Engage with senior leadership to discuss incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
• Proactively craft strategies to keep AWS environments operationally healthy and resilient.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (approx. 10% or more).
