Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS)Enterprise Support seeks a Sr. Cloud Technical Account Manager to act as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer for Enterprise customers.

The TAM collaborates with engineers to drive adoption of AWS services across Compute, Storage, Databases, and more, shaping strategic technical guidance in customer environments. This role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, risk management, and executive-level communication, with travel up to 10%+.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 7+ years of equivalent work experience or 9+ years of related work experience.
• 7+ years of technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
• Proactively keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy and resilient.
• Drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management.
• Travel up to 10% or more as needed to engage with customers.
