Job summary

ByteDance seeks a strategic sourcing leader to originate capacity opportunities across hyperscalers and cross-cloud partners. You will own end-to-end negotiation, contracting, and governance for large multi-year commitments, while building director+ level relationships with cloud providers and coordinating across legal, finance, and engineering teams.

You will drive playbook development, market intelligence, and risk disclosures to inform senior leadership, shaping ByteDance's cloud sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in sourcing, business development, partnerships, or commercial roles in cloud/AI infra.
• Proven record of multi-hundred-million to multi-billion USD engagements end-to-end.
• Executive network across hyperscalers at the director+ level.
• Experience negotiating multi-vendor, cross-cloud deals.
• Strong financial acumen with TCO analysis and deal modeling.
• Excellent English written and spoken; able to brief at C-level.

Responsibilities

• Originate new capacity opportunities across hyperscalers and cross-cloud portfolios.
• Lead end-to-end strategy, negotiation, contracting, and delivery governance for large-scale commitments.
• Build executive-level relationships with hyperscalers and AI infrastructure providers.
• Lead cross-functional programs with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
• Develop playbooks, deal frameworks, and market intelligence templates.
• Manage vendor performance and escalate at the senior level.
