Job summary

ByteDance in San Jose is seeking a proactive sourcing and supply chain professional to join the Infrastructure team. You will manage end-to-end procurement processes, bid support, contract lifecycle tasks, and supplier relationships to support CDN and data center operations.

This role emphasizes daily execution and process improvement, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Technical teams to drive cost efficiency and reliable supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields.
• Foundational knowledge of sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and contract management.
• Ability to support data sorting, progress tracking, and reporting for RFX processes.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and able to engage with cross-department stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily sourcing strategies and operational work, business demand matching, progress tracking and regular work summary & report output.
• Support the whole process of bidding, RFX inquiry and procurement negotiation for projects and supplier docking.
• Take charge of end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including new contract signing, renewal, revision, and asset transaction arrangement.
• Coordinate with internal technical, product and account teams to track quotation progress and close projects.
• Sort out and maintain business price verification documents and ensure compliance with systems and specs.
• Assist in supplier development, onboarding, and cross-department coordination.
• Dock and communicate with internal teams and suppliers to solve business problems and ensure efficient execution.
• Provide data support for cost accounting, TCO analysis and sourcing strategy optimization.
