The role blends remote work with periodic on-site client visits within the designated territory, requiring collaboration across internal teams and a focus on revenue retention and growth through strategic guidance and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Account Management.
• 4 years of experience in Account management, Sales, or high-level customer service with mid-market clients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders and serves as a consultative partner to drive client success and maximize utilization of Paychex solutions.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and referring to internal partners.
• Responds to client communications in a timely, professional manner to resolve issues related to payroll and ancillary products and provide training and support.
• Identify and analyze trends/issues and escalate to management to ensure client satisfaction and revenue retention.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal Paychex departments to resolve client issues and ensure profitability.
• Provide clients and management with regular reporting and status updates to ensure client satisfaction and executive engagement.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement client activities and programs in partnership with sales, training, and operations teams.
