Job summary

Paychex is seeking an HR consultant to deliver consultative guidance to clients on HR needs, working remotely and in-person. You will partner with internal teams to resolve client concerns and provide solutions across performance management, recruiting, retention strategies, and compensation.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality service, maintaining client relationships, and staying current on HR trends while supporting EPLI setups and benefit discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in HR or equivalent.
• Consulting and leadership experience preferred.
• Interpersonal communication and client-facing skills.
• Customer service experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Services clients remotely and in-person with consultative guidance.
• Partner with internal departments to address client concerns with actionable plans.
• Provide guidance on Performance Management, Recruiting, and retention strategies.
• Advise on Compensation, Performance Development, Employee Engagement, and Culture Enhancement.
• May support PEO clients with EPLI setup and benfit plan enrollment advice.
• Communicates HR policies and delivers remedies for employee relations issues.
