Job summary

Paychex is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to sustain and expand relationships with key clients. You will collaborate with internal Paychex departments and vendors to deliver outcomes, advocate for client needs, and drive revenue growth across Paychex solutions.

The role supports a hybrid work model with local travel within the designated territory, including on-site client visits and remote tasks. Prior account management/sales experience with mid-market clients is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in account management.
• 4+ years in account management, sales, or high-level customer service with mid-market clients.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with top tier clients through collaboration with internal Paychex departments and vendors.
• Advocates for client deliverables and drives revenue growth and Paychex strategy.
• Facilitates management and strategic service of assigned accounts.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and referrals.
• Respond to client communications and resolve issues related to payroll and ancillary products.
• Travel within assigned territory for in-person meetings and service delivery.
