Job summary

Paychex is seeking an Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier clients, driving satisfaction and retention across Paychex services.

The role requires 5 years in account management or related fields, with 1 year in a leadership capacity. Strong communication, presentations, and CRM experience are essential. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting mid-market clients in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Account Management.
• 5 years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or high-level customer service with mid-market clients.
• 1 year of leadership experience (formal or informal).

Responsibilities

• Builds strong client relationships and works to retain and grow client utilization of Paychex services.
• Provides high-level customer service to top-tier clients, identifying needs and recommending product enhancements.
• Responds promptly to client communications to resolve payroll and product inquiries and training needs.
• Maintains understanding of clients' businesses and strategic plans to drive results and retention.
• Serves as liaison among internal departments to resolve client issues and ensure satisfaction.
