Job summary

Paychex, a leading provider of payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services, is seeking an Account Manager to nurture top-tier client relationships and drive revenue growth. You will collaborate with internal Paychex departments and vendors to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives and maximize utilization of Paychex products.

This hybrid role blends remote work with on-site client visits across the designated territory; travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Account Management.
• 4 years of experience in Account management, Sales, or high-level customer service, with mid-market clients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders and serves as a consultative partner to drive client success and revenue retention.
• Drive customer revenue growth by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities for Paychex products and solutions.
• Responds to client communications in a timely, professional manner to resolve issues related to payroll and ancillary products and training needs.
• Identifies major trends and ensures resolution or escalation to maintain client satisfaction and profitability.
