Job summary

USI, Inc. in the United States seeks an Account Manager for Premier clients to service, renew, and grow relationships across personal lines.

You will drive renewal planning, coordinate with carriers, and communicate complex coverage options with a client-centric approach. Ideal candidates bring a strong background in Personal Lines P&C, an active P&C license, and the ability to collaborate across teams to improve client outcomes and retention.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance and understanding of coverages, underwriting and rating concepts.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPRIA, CPCU or pursuing further designation
• Knowledge of insurance products, coverage and rating concepts

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts by proactive client engagement and renewal letters.
• Provide technical expertise on insurance coverage and products with service to new and existing clients.
• Complete USI New Business Process for new clients including communications and welcome packets.
• Manage all pre-renewal activities for Premier clients and schedule risk assessment meetings.
• Deliver renewal proposals to Premier clients quoting additional lines/markets as applicable.
• Execute policy renewals; issue proof of insurance and maintain renewal expirations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and coordinate with carriers.
