Job summary

USI is seeking a dedicated account management professional to service Tier 1 Premier client engagement, oversee renewal processes, and address client questions. The role emphasizes retention, policy accuracy, and proactive communication with carriers and clients.

Responsibilities include renewal coordination, handling claims guidance, and ensuring high standards of service in line with USI Core Values and Best Practices.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate. College degree preferred, but not required.
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license
• Hold an industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPRIA, CPCU or pursue designation
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy
• Keeps informed on industry information, products, legislation, coverages and technology

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts by pro-active client engagement.
• Provide technical expertise in insurance coverage and products for new and existing clients.
• Complete USI New Business Process for new clients, including communication plans and welcome packets.
• Manage all pre-renewal activities for Premier clients and deliver renewal proposals.
• Execute on policy renewals; issue proofs of insurance and maintain renewal expirations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Provide guidance to clients on first reports of claims and facilitate carrier responses.
