Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a seasoned relationship management professional in Minnesota to serve as the focal point for large advisor plan clients and their financial professionals. You will drive retention, provide consultative support, and coordinate strategies across sales, service, and operations to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities include owning issue resolution, building senior-level relationships, and partnering with internal teams to enhance plan design and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in retirement services or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with direct client relationships within a financial services environment.
• Certification in industry studies (ASPPA, CEBS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and ensure secure handling.
• Demonstrate proactive client focus and teamwork.
• Promote client satisfaction and retention; support organic growth.
• Develop relationships with client contacts and senior-level decision makers.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to resolve client issues.
• Review book of business to identify retention opportunities and non-elite advisor strategies.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate clients on products and services.
• Lead or participate in projects that add value to existing relationships.
• Analyze client data and conduct outreach to strengthen relationships.
• Maintain proficiency with Ascensus products to manage key relationships.
