Job summary

Ascensus, a leading technology and service platform for savings plans, seeks a seasoned relationship manager to serve elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors. You will own client relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and drive plan retention through proactive problem resolution.

You will also engage with senior-level contacts to educate on plan features, cross-sell opportunities, and ensure high-quality service across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in retirement services or related field preferred.
• 5+ years direct client relationships within a financial services admin environment.

Responsibilities

• Protect confidential data and ensure proper handling to prevent disclosure.
• Demonstrate Ascensus core values in daily actions and culture.
• Maintain superior client focus and teamwork with outcomes for retention.
• Develop relationships with client contacts and financial professionals.
• Own issue resolution escalated by clients and professionals.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments on client needs.
• Review book of business to identify retention strategies for non-elite advisors.
• Engage with C-level decision makers for education and communication strategies.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate on products and services.
• Compile data, track communications, and propose improvements to plans.
• Lead or participate in projects adding value to relationships.
• Analyze data and conduct outreach to strengthen share of wallet.
• Maintain proficiency with Ascensus products for key relationships.
