Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a Client Development Manager to lead the development and management of client relationships that generate sustainable revenue. You will identify opportunities, craft strategic plans, and drive marketing activities to secure new business across service lines.

In this role, you will build a diverse network, conduct market research, and monitor CRM data to inform action plans. Strong leadership and knowledge of the A/E industry are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice areas, clients and competition.
• Leadership, management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledgeable of the RFP structure and proposal process.
• Strong understanding of A/E industry terminology, business practices and delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong and diverse business/industry network.
• Develop relationships with new/existing clients to discover project and program information.
• Conduct market research and gather information on potential markets, clients and projects.
• Develop, monitor and implement strategic business and action plans for potential markets, clients, and projects.
• Monitor client performance trends/issues utilizing CRM.
• Obtain feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance and develop corrective actions.
• Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
• Participate in training and development of future firm leaders.
• Involved in professional organizations, committees, and officer positions.
• Develop and report on metrics of marketing success.
