Job summary

Terracon is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to expand the firm’s engineering consulting services in the Midland, TX area. You will build long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities, and lead the creation of qualification packages and proposals.

You will network with professional organizations, schedule client meetings, and collaborate with Marketing and Sectors to win projects while ensuring safety and quality standards across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 3 years’ related experience.
• Alternatively, 7+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the client development representative for an office or department.
• Develops long-term client relationships and networks.
• Schedules meetings with clients to discuss firm capabilities.
• Prepares qualification packages and written proposals.
• Collaborates with NAMs, Sectors, Marketing to pursue opportunities.
• Maintains safety, quality standards on all projects.
• Reports planned sales activities to management.
