Job summary

Marsh, a global leader in risk and insurance, is seeking a Client Advisor to support strategic transportation clients within our US Affinity organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, manage cross-functional projects, and design risk programs covering auto and fleet liability, workers' comp, property, and other lines.

The role requires 5+ years in client management in transportation or commercial insurance, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Insurance industry experience required (underwriting, brokerage, commercial lines, product management, or client management).
• 5+ years in managing client relationships, preferably in transportation or commercial insurance.
• Strong project management and program execution skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Affinity clients and ensure insurance programs deliver value through risk mitigation, resilience, and business impact.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and manage escalated issues to support retention and satisfaction.
• Apply knowledge of commercial risks and products (auto, fleet liability, general liability, workers' comp, property, inland marine/cargo, management liability) to support client strategy and program design.
• Lead end-to-end program and project execution for assigned accounts, including scoping, planning, coordinating cross-functional deliverables, and renewal.
• Collaborate with sales, servicing, compliance, legal, marketing, placement, claims, technology and others to meet revenue and client service goals.
• Develop understanding of client needs, market dynamics, and competitive trends within transportation.
• Partner with internal and external teams to refine client strategies and deliver solutions responding to changing customer needs.
• Measure client success using disciplined, business-focused metrics and ongoing performance tracking.
• Apply systems-thinking to connect client needs, processes, technology, service delivery, and risk solutions across the business.
