Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Relationship Manager to serve as the focal point for elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors. You will manage relationships, provide consultative support, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a successful service experience and plan retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields.
• 7+ years experience in retirement services or related field.
• 5+ years direct client relationships within financial services administrative environment.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA CEBS in industry-related studies.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication; group presentation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point for existing big and elite advisor plan clients and financial advisors.
• Provide consultative advice and support to ensure execution of strategies and plan retention.
• Promote plan retention and cross-sell opportunities; own issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to advocate for clients and professionals.
• Develop education and communication strategies with C-level decision makers.
• Analyze data and conduct outreach to strengthen relationships and share of wallet.
• Maintain proficiency with Ascensus’ proprietary products across platforms.
