Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a seasoned relationship management professional to serve as the primary point of contact for large advisor plan clients and their financial professionals. You will manage relationships, provide consultative guidance, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a high-quality service experience and plan retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business.
• 7+ years in retirement services or related field preferred.
• 5+ years direct client relationships in financial services administrative environment.
• Certification in industry studies preferred (ASPPA, CEBS).
• Ability to work independently as required, but also contribute to a cohesive team.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Focal point for existing big and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors.
• Provide consultative advice and support to ensure coordinated strategies and execution.
• Promote plan retention by ownership, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Develop relationships with C-level decision makers for assigned accounts.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate financial professionals on products and services.
• Compile data, track communications and escalations; offer solutions to enhance Ascensus experience.
• Lead or participate in projects that add value to relationships.
• Maintain data security and compliance; travel as required.
