Job summary

Under general supervision, you will manage moderate to large exposure claims with complex liability and coverage issues, developing strategies to resolve efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in claim handling, legal, insurance or related fields.
• Licensing may be required to comply with state and Travelers requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research coverage across multiple policies and jurisdictions; prepare coverage recommendations.
• Investigate liability and analyze claim facts to evaluate damages and determine action.
• Develop and execute strategic file management plans; manage litigation and settlement strategies.
• Maintain well-documented claim files and use SRG systems and databases.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, counsel, and headquarters; monitor budgets and exposures.
