The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Technical Specialist to handle complex toxic tort, latent injury, sexual misconduct and environmental claims in the Strategic Resolution Group. You will manage moderate to large exposure claims with sophisticated liability and coverage issues, developing strategies for efficient, compliant resolution while delivering superior service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience in claim handling, legal, insurance, coverage advice or environmental fields.

Responsibilities

• Coverage Research and Analysis - research policy existence across legacy companies and analyze coverage, prepare recommendations.
• Liability Investigation and Analysis - thoroughly investigate claim facts to determine liability and assess damages.
• Litigation Management - develop and execute file management plans, engage counsel as needed.
• Account Management - maintain relationships with account contacts and coordinate actions on assigned accounts.
• Financial Analysis - estimate financial exposures and develop budgets with supervision.
• File Maintenance and Administrative Compliance - keep well-documented files and SRG systems up to date.
• Staff Development - may involve training, mentoring and interviewing.
