Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Sr. Technical Specialist in the Strategic Resolution Group to manage complex toxic tort, latent injury, environmental, and excess claims with large financial exposures.

You will mentor staff, apply advanced legal knowledge, and coordinate with field teams and partners to resolve claims efficiently while maintaining high client service standards. With 5+ years in toxic tort and related areas, you will lead investigations, develop coverage positions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of toxic tort, latent injury, environmental claim and coverage determination experience.
• Licensing: Insurance license(s) may be required and should be obtained within three months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze coverage across multiple legacy policies and jurisdictions.
• Investigate and analyze claim facts to determine liability and advise on appropriate actions.
• Develop and execute strategic file management plans to achieve optimal resolutions.
• Coordinate with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders in disputes and settlements.
• Maintain well-documented claim files and ensure data accuracy in SRG systems.
