Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced account manager to serve a strategic customer and related distributors from a home-office in the United States. You will coordinate with sales, pricing, marketing, and operations to ensure responsive service and growth.

You will leverage CRM/ERP tools and Excel to translate data into action, drive channel programs, and maintain strong relationships across organizational levels. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in account management, channel sales, or related commercial role.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence across levels.
• Strong customer focus, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for the strategic customer and distributors.
• Coordinate with internal teams (pricing, logistics, finance, marketing) to resolve issues.
• Support account growth plans, channel programs, and metrics.
• Monitor orders, shipments, and program participation against annual objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate program details to stakeholders.
