Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in procurement, telecom, or data center roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain relationships with Internet Service Providers (ISP), IP Transit vendors, and Data Centre Operators.
• Proactively identify sourcing opportunities for data center, network services and partnerships to meet network expansion requirements, to reduce cost, and leverage external suppliers and partners as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Network Leadership Team to define, develop and deliver on an integrated and aligned strategy to support short/long term goals of the company.
• Manage networks services procurement and ecosystem investment including ongoing management of network operating costs related commitments.
• Create and implement procurement strategy for major networking equipment and accessories by working with internal business units on potential future projects.
• Create and present weekly and monthly P&L management report.
• Develop and expand vendor channels for networking equipment and accessories, including due diligence and cost negotiation.
• Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Travel to visit vendors on an as needed basis.
