Job summary

Zenlayer, the world’s first hyperconnected cloud, seeks a Carrier Relationship Manager to build and nurture relationships with ISPs, IP Transit vendors, and data center operators.

You will lead procurement strategies, identify sourcing opportunities, manage costs, and collaborate with network leadership to support growth and shared goals. Travel to vendor sites as needed; strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of procurement/relationship management experience in telecom, data center, AI or cloud industries.
• Degree in business administration or related field is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Excellent computer skills and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain relationships with ISPs, IP Transit vendors and Data Centre Operators.
• Identify sourcing opportunities for data center and network services to meet expansion needs and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Network Leadership to define a unified strategy.
• Manage network services procurement and related operating costs.
• Develop and implement procurement strategy for networking equipment with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly P&L reports.
• Expand vendor channels and perform due diligence and negotiations.
