Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in California to lead strategic relationships with major health systems, ensuring access and appropriate utilization of Amgen CV products. The role requires coordinating across matrix teams and engaging with clinical, pharmacy, and administrative stakeholders.

The candidate will develop account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy, monitor performance, and relay market insights to Analytics, Brand, and Market Access teams.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales/account management experience.
• Or Master’s degree & 4 years of sales/account management experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of sales/account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts and develop tailored approaches.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives for institutional utilization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaison(s) as appropriate.
• Meet with hospital decision-makers in cardiology, lipidology, Pharmacy, P&T committees.
• Present MAC approved data and ensure compliant delivery.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with other sales colleagues.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics.
• Provide field intelligence to Analytics, Brand, and Market Access teams.
