Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager to lead strategic account plans, develop relationships with hospital and payor decision-makers, and drive portfolio utilization across assigned accounts in California. You will work within a matrix environment, coordinating with field teams and MSLs to optimize access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Or Master’s degree & 4 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Or Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of sales experience and/or related account management experience
• Preferred Qualifications include 3+ years of account management and/or public payor experience, advanced degree 7+ years in healthcare sales, and cardiology/dyslipidemia experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, executing compliant, innovative strategies to engage priority providers.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives that enable sustainable, institution/system utilization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit strategy.
• Collaborates with field teams and medical science liaisons as appropriate.
• Meeting with hospital leaders and payors to support portfolio usage and access.
