Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in the United States. You will lead strategic account initiatives, align CV portfolio strategies with institutional needs, and coordinate with field teams, MSLs, and payor partners to optimize access and utilization.

You will build relationships with hospital leaders across cardiology, lipidology, and related departments, present data, and drive access and adoption in complex health systems.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors with sales/account management experience.
• Experience in healthcare sales or account management preferred.
• Knowledge of payor systems and CMS processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts.
• Ensure institutional availability across inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• Lead implementation initiatives for sustainable utilization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for CV strategy.
• Collaborate with field teams and medical science liaison as appropriate.
• Meet with key decision-makers in Cardiology, Lipidology, Pharmacy, and P&T committees.
• Present MAC-approved data and ensure compliant delivery.
• Coordinate pull-through and access with sales colleagues.
• Monitor account performance and market dynamics.
