Job summary

Novartis AG in the United States is seeking a Manager, Cardiovascular Priority Accounts to drive product pull-through in Priority Accounts and affiliated healthcare systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
• 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams, and 2+ years’ experience in specialty buy-and-bill.
• 2+ years’ experience managing complex accounts, including major academic centers and hospitals.
• Extensive understanding of the cardiovascular community and product knowledge.
• Experience collaborating across functions in a matrix environment to develop strategic account plans.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% and reside within territory or within 50 miles of territory border.

Responsibilities

• Build institutional advocacy around formulary adoption to drive use of cardiovascular products.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans for identified Priority Accounts and affiliated systems.
• Engage with administrative, clinical, operational, and financial partners to optimize care pathways and workflows.
• Identify injection locations and coordinate with stakeholders to integrate workflows and EMR.
• Present disease state and product information to physicians and staff, leading cross-functional teams to update plans.
