Job summary

Novartis Group Companies is seeking a field-based, remote role supporting key accounts across the United States. The candidate will drive formulary adoption, build strategic plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize care pathways and reimbursement. Travel 60-80% is required; relocation is not offered.

Must have deep cardiovascular knowledge, 5+ years in pharma or related fields, and strong account management experience across major centers and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from a 4-year college or university.
• 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams.
• 2+ years' experience managing complex accounts, including major academic centers and hospitals.
• Extensive understanding of the cardiovascular community and product knowledge.
• Experience collaborating across functions in a matrix environment to develop strategic account plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans for identified Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems.
• Build relationships with administrative decision makers and clinical, operational, and financial partners.
• Identify injection locations and integrate workflow with cross-functional teams.
• Present product and disease state information to physicians and staff; lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Support cross-functional members in identifying opportunities and diagnosing issues in assigned accounts.
• Maintain awareness of pricing offerings and communicate with account administrators.
• Collaborate with local partners to reflect market forces in institutional plans.
