Job summary

Novartis in the United States is seeking a Manager, Cardiovascular Priority Accounts to drive product pull-through in Priority Accounts and Affiliated Healthcare Systems. You will develop strategic business plans, collaborate across departments, and build senior-level relationships to enable account buying and HCP ordering.

The role requires extensive cardiovascular product knowledge, field leadership, and willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university.
5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams.
2+ years’ experience managing complex accounts, including major academic centers and hospitals.

Responsibilities

Build institutional advocacy around formulary adoption to drive utilization and develop strategic plans for Priority Accounts.
Develop relationships with administrative, clinical, operational, and financial partners to optimize care pathways and communication of insights.
Identify injection locations suitable to account archetype and integrate workflow with cross-functional teams.
Understand inpatient vs. outpatient reimbursement to ensure strategic account plans are appropriate.
Collaborate with local partners to create targeted institutional business plans reflecting local market forces.
