Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking a Director Capture Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the full capture lifecycle for high-value federal opportunities.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, strategic thinking, and winning competitive procurements, with responsibilities spanning opportunity identification, qualification, proposal development, and award. You will shape strategies for DoD and IC missions, manage budgets and risk, and present to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years of relevant federal business development or capture leadership experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture execution for large federal pursuits (> $100M).
• Develop capture strategies aligned to federal customer requirements and acquisition objectives.
• Drive opportunity shaping through customer engagement, market analysis, competitive positioning, and acquisition influence.
• Build and maintain detailed customer profiles including mission priorities and decision cycles.
• Lead win strategy development including technical, management, teaming, past performance, and price strategies.
• Coordinate with Line of Business leadership, Solution Architects, and SMEs to develop credible, executable solutions.
• Serve as the focal point for cross-functional capture teams and coordinate resources across lines of business.
• Prepare and lead milestone reviews, gate reviews, risk reviews, and executive capture briefings.
• Manage B&P budgets, forecasts, pursuit risks, resource alignment, and capture metrics to support disciplined capture execution.
