Monteith Construction, a Carolina-based commercial builder, seeks a Business Development Manager for the Myrtle Beach office to identify opportunities and grow client relationships across public and private sectors. You will develop a robust pipeline for construction projects and drive opportunities from lead to awarded work.

The role involves engaging in industry events, collaborating with internal teams, and representing Monteith’s brand. Experience in triad market and Salesforce is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in identifying and pursuing business opportunities in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to grow relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience building and managing a sales pipeline from lead to awarded work.
• Strong communication skills across diverse industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities aligned with Monteith’s strengths.
• Grow existing client relationships and develop new prospects (public/private, institutions, developers).
• Develop a pipeline of construction projects and drive opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Represent Monteith at industry events and engage with local trade partners.
