Job summary

Monteith Construction Corp. in the Carolinas seeks a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality within budget.

You will lead a project team, communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and manage schedules, costs, and documentation using Procore, Newforma, and Primavera P6. Travel within NC/SC is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with project management software; Procore, Newforma, etc.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules; Primavera P6 preferred.
• LEED AP or LEED training encouraged.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed.
• Ability to travel (NC/SC).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects.
• Communicate with Project Superintendents to keep on schedule and budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with project team members.
• Review budgets, costings, and change orders to maximize return.
• Ensure drawings and specs are examined for design issues and compliance.
• Review and approve subcontractor billings and submittals.
• Manage project documents in Procore and coordination of schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor labor and material deliveries and schedule.
