Job summary

BDO seeks a Director of Business Development to lead local office and industry revenue growth by shaping BD strategy, building market presence, and guiding opportunities with Practice Leaders and senior executives.

You will coordinate with marketing and sales teams, develop plans, and manage lead generation, pursuing opportunities through targeted campaigns, events, and network initiatives to hit annual revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in business/admin or marketing and 5+ years BD experience, or 7+ years BD experience with HS diploma.
• Experience building relationships with C-level executives and referral sources is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes office/industry BD plan with leaders and principals.
• Collaborates with Practice and Industry Leaders to design BD strategies.
• Spearheads lead generation activities including events, campaigns and networking.
• Monitors and reports results of lead generation programs and CRM usage.
• Presents pursuit/pipeline reports monthly to supervisors and leaders.
• Contributes to national BD programs and maintains CRM data quality.
• Drives annual revenue growth and completes staffing discussions with leadership.
