Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive local office and industry revenue by building market presence and leading development plans. The role collaborates with Practice Leaders, MDs, and the Chief Business Development Officer to target markets, pursue opportunities, and align with firm strategy.

You will supervise BD support staff, coordinate with marketing, and oversee CRM-driven reporting, pipeline management, and go-to-market strategies to achieve annual revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and five (5) or more years of business development experience in a professional services environment or industry relevant firm, required; OR
• Seven (7) or more years of business development experience in a professional services environment or industry relevant firm with a High School Diploma/GED, required

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes office/industry business development plan in conjunction with Practice Leaders and principals.
• Identifies markets and opportunities; defines cross-selling and key account programs.
• Maintains CRM and reports progress to leadership.
• Leads pursuit strategy and supports proposals and presentations.
