Job summary

Responsibilities include crafting pitches and responses to RFPs, developing thought leadership pieces, coordinating events, and promoting the practice group through internal and external channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years in marketing and business development, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience supporting a legal practice or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to inform targeted business development efforts.
• Create high-quality pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
• Develop and submit legal directories, awards, and league tables.
• Prepare client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements, including logistics and vendor coordination.
• Promote attorneys' expertise with the firm's communications team and identify media opportunities.
• Identify cross-practice connections to boost internal visibility.
• Collect matter data for Foundation; handle InterAction functions and BD reports.
• Collaborate with Practice Management to support group operations and meetings.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and gather feedback.
