Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke seeks a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team, supporting the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice. The role collaborates with attorneys to plan and deliver high-quality materials for growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include strategy development, market research, RFP responses, event coordination, and promoting the firm's expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required and/or combination of education/experience demonstrating the duties.
Minimum of four (4) years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
Prior successful work history supporting a legal practice or similar experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
Conduct client, prospect, industry, competitor, and market research/analysis to inform targeted BD efforts.
Assist in creation of tailored pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
Coordinate planning and execution of events, sponsorships, webinars and speaking engagements.
Promote the firm's successes and legal expertise via media, publications, and speaking opportunities.
