Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team. You will work with the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice group to plan and deliver high-quality materials for key growth initiatives, conduct market research, and coordinate events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and/or combination demonstrating ability to perform duties.
• Minimum of four years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in legal or professional services.
• Prior successful work history supporting a legal practice or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to inform targeted business development efforts.
• Help create high-quality pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
• Assist with legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, webinars, sponsorships, and speaking engagements; manage logistics and budgets.
• Promote firm successes and expertise through media, publishing, and speaking opportunities.
• Identify cross-practice connections to raise internal visibility.
• Collect and organize matter data for Foundation, the firm’s experience system.
• Maintain marketing lists and BD activities in InterAction; support practice group meetings.
